For your convenience please fill this out and keep in your records, bring to show and use it to organize your day.  It saves the secretary a lot of time if you do not need to ask which classes you have entered.  Descriptions of classes will help you prepare for them as well.

___.13.  Maiden Canter ( This class is for first time canter or beginner cantering.  Each rider canters alone along the rail on one long side.  Judged on transition, seat and hands.
___14.. Asking Leads Canter(This class is for beginner cantering and each rider will canter a full turn around the ring in each direction separately asking the horse for its lead)
___15. Group Canter(This class is for beginner cantering/green horses, riders will be asked to canter in the ring after a description of how to handle spacing and passing properly, riders that are out of control or that do not follow the safety guidelines will be brought to the middle)

___23. Water Gaits  (hold a cup of water through various gaits and directions the one with the most water wins)
___24. Ride a buck (each rider gets a dollar bill under their thigh and rides all gaits without losing it, winner gets money)

___26.  W/T Cones (Weave up and back to starting line)
___27. W/T Trail(Negotiating 5 to 6 obstacles and follow directions, course will be available day of show)
___28. W/T Obstacle Race(Timed race through trail course, all obstacles must be successfully maneuvred.)


Show Rules and Regulations

1.  All riders must wear helmets and heeled boots or shoes.
2.  All horses must have an experienced handler, no horses should be left at trailer side without supervision if the owner is riding another horse in the show.
3.  All children must be supervised by an unmounted, responsible person.
4.  Trailers cannot be dropped off.
5.  Stalls are available for $25 prepaid before the day of the show.  No visiting horse shall enter the barn for any reason.  This is for health and safety reasons since there are borders horses in the barn and children prepping horses for the show in the barn.
6.  No participant shall enter the barn unless they are riding a Secret Acres horse.  This will lessen confusion for the kids getting ready.
7.  There are no REFUNDS the day of the show.
8.  No yelling, excessive force used on horses or foul language will be tolerated.
9.  Anyone found breaking one of these rules will be asked to leave the grounds immediately without a refund.
10.  No smoking on the grounds.
11.  Coggins and rabies should be presented for each horse the day of the show before 10 a.m. to the show secretary.  Rabies within a year, coggins within 3 years inside the state, 6 months outside the state.

These rules were made in an attempt to make sure everyone enjoys our shows and that they remain child, participant and spectator friendly.
